Live from Colorado!

Here I sit, in the cardboard jungle that is the rental home we have lived in for almost 7 days. It is wonderful to sit down and give you an update. We miss our life in Sioux Falls the way we miss the beauty of any of our past life. The places, the routines, the predictability and the people. Oh, the people.

Words cannot express how loved we feel by the people of our past locations. It is because of you we are able to walk into this new (to us) community with hope and belief in finding community again. It is because of you we believe we are worthy of having friends and community (again).

For those who wonder, our top 3 priorities right now are in this order:

1. Get settled in our new home. This involves unpacking, getting ready for school to begin, meeting the neighbors, and getting our house's A/C fixed.

2. Establishing healthy routines. So much of the stress from the past 3 months was due to our world's being turned upside down. Becky and I are sorting through what it looks like to both work from home for awhile and then re-introducing ourselves to healthy sleeping habits (again) and more.

Too often, the excitement and pressure of a new adventure causes us to skip the importance of finding healthy rhythms for family, work, and leisure.

We are being intentional about our pace right now.

3. Fundraising for the church plant. Our goal is to raise 130k by December 2021. This is very doable. Without much effort, we have already surpassed 10k is actual donations with pledges exceeding 50k. Here

We are praying for God to provide and we are ASKING you to pray about what role you may have in that provision. Those who give are simply

being obedient to GOD'S leading.
