This is my attempt to give you some play by play of some key events from the past month. It will be a break from the more philosophical and church-y themes I usually share.

Last Sunday at Ransom Church

I was honored to share a teaching, as part of our Revelation Series, on our final weekend at ransom church. It was emotional and it was good. If you have any interest, check it out HERE.

Goodbye to the Bells

Having so many people to love and be loved by doesn't sound like a problem at all. (BUT) To love is to hurt and be open to being hurt. We (still) think love is worth it.

We invited everyone we know to show up to say goodbye (open house style) on a Sunday afternoon. We were not sure what to expect but the turnout was overwhelming. I feel a bit arrogant even trying to describe what it meant to see so many people make us a part of their schedules that afternoon.

Driving the Truck

We stayed in a hotel Tuesday night and left around 7:30am the next day. I drove the truck with 2 co-pilots (one human & one K9). Becky drove our van with two humans. It took a long time and ended very late that night. Our dear friends (The Garners) were ready to help us unload the truck along with Cindy/James, Britt/Rommell, and some new friends. This may have been one of the longest days of our lives but I do not know if it could have gone better than it did.

Pastor Meetings

To anyone planning to plant a church (ever) you need to know a fundamental truth: Never do it alone. We are part of a few incredibly healthy networks, one being the Mountain Plains District of The Wesleyan Church. I (Jared) drove to Colorado Springs for 2 days of meetings and resourcing. It was good to meet some new people and learn more about the (regional) team we are a part of.

Misc.

I (Jared) ran my 4th Tough Mudder with two great friends before we moved. This was in Hugo, MN.

My son is really working it with the new mo-hawk cut. This was at a church we attended our first weekend in CO.

Here's the view from the neighborhood we (now) live in.

Its called Arvada, CO.

Now we call it home.

Thanks for your support.

- Jared (and Becky)
