Updates & an Invitation!

There are days when I stare at the computer screen, scratching my head, wondering what is worthy of typing into our supporter blog. The sheer number of people who have sent love, shared resources, and cheer for us causes me to stall out sometimes.

Today, I have some great stuff to share.

1. WE FOUND A PLACE TO LIVE.

In case you missed out on past communications, this was a huge hurdle to get over. The housing market in Denver Metro has not kept up with population growth for almost a decade and the possibility of us finding a place to rent, in a manageable price range, was not a guarantee.

Thank you for praying. Thank you for asking. Thank you to the 30 or so who made social media pleas, texts, and phone calls to contacts you have in Colorado. Thank you.

2. WE SOLD OUR HOUSE.

This happened fairly quick. While the current market did not leave us worried about selling, the process of packing and preparing your home to sell is stressful. Our realtor scheduled all showings and open houses on the same weekend so we (Bells) took off for the weekend and let them do their magic (without us). We returned, the following Tuesday, to find out approximately 60 people had walked through our home and we had multiple (good) offers.

Any of the offers would have satisfied us and we feel we were able to choose one without being greedy or stingy. We are so sad to leave this house we love but thankful to take some equity with us into our next adventure.

Thank you for praying for us. Thank you for praying for our kids and our finances. Thank you.

3. WE HAVE MADE CONNECTIONS IN THE AREA.

Part of our team has already moved to CO and is making connections in the community. Our goal is to serve and invest in the circles God leads us into. Not as salespeople but...(wait for it) as people.

Thank you for the many contacts you have given us. So many of you have connected us with your uncles, friends, pastors, and coworkers in the area. If we had the time, we could have a networking phone call scheduled every day for years. I (Jared) am still catching up on scheduling with some of the people you have connected me with.

God is growing a movement and it is happening so beautifully.

Your support has made us feel less alone and very hopeful.

4. VISION NIGHT (VIDEO) MEETING.

You are invited to our first official vision night and we really NEED you there. It will be a video meeting, on ZOOM, for everyone who is part of our supporters. This is an opportunity to meet and hear from the current team, hear the vision of the church, the timeline, and we will figure out a way to do some Q & A.

We will probably laugh together too. Just sayin.

This will also be right before we (Bells) move to CO. So your emotional support will be really great around that time. This is for all current and potential supporters.
