Hey Supporters, This is Jared. You are viewing part one of a blog series intended to introduce you to the people who have completely uprooted their lives to invest in a mission bigger than themselves. They are not celebrities, but they are heroes.
I have known the Garners since 2011 when the Bells lived in (the magical desert) Tucson, AZ. Here is their story, written by Mama Garner.

One may wonder how a family from Tucson, AZ found themselves part of a launch team in Arvada, CO. That's a great question!
Summer 2020, I (Chelsea) was on a video call with THE Becky Bell and told her about our plans, that weekend, to visit Denver, CO. I asked for prayer because this wasn't a vacation, we were seriously considering moving there but did not really know why (yet).
Becky became silent.
She then proceeded to share that her and Jared had a calling to start a church and were feeling (strangely) led to Denver! They had not told anyone about this yet. Not even their families because it was so new.
If my husband (Curt) and I were not followers of Jesus, we may have thought this was purely coincidental, but we believed God may be up to something bigger. At that point, Curt and I started praying about our involvement in partnering with Jared and Becky. They
shared their hearts & calling about a church plant and it aligned with our hearts
desire to see healing & restoration within God’s people and in the hearts of those far from who God created them to be.
Is this all a bit scary? Absolutely! Do we miss our friends/family and lives in Tucson? Of course.....
Since that day, a lot has happened.
- Our family of 7 humans and 1 dog have moved into a rental home less than a 5 minute drive from the Bells.
- Four out of five of our children have started at new schools and plugged into activities in the area.
- We've explored the beauty of Colorado together almost every weekend this summer
- We have reconnected with the Bells and it is so wonderful!
- We are actively building new relationships in the natural circles we are a part of (school, community pools, coffee shops, and more).
- Curt's job has allowed him to stay on and continue to work remote.
- My job as a photographer has grown tremendously due to connections with a few Colorado Photographers and (new) opportunities to being an associate shooter. Feel free to recommend me to anyone you know looking for a photographer.
We are humbled by all the support we are receiving from those we know and many new ministry supporters. We cannot do this without you! Thank you for investing in this kingdom work through prayer, finances and/or time.
