#3. Crazy stuff started to happen.
I don't like to play the 'God card' a lot...or at all.
That really means I like to know for sure God is speaking or leading before I start using the "God is leading" language to convince myself or anyone else of anything.
That said, God started speaking into our lives through other people about locations and team members.
The city of Denver came up.
A lot.
All of the sudden we had a possible location and group of 6 households interested in supporting us. Some already saying they were considering joining us.
When they weren't around we would joke, "Where and what are they praying about joining us in? We would really like to know too!"
#4. The Exploratory Trip.
We had been to Denver a few times before.
Most recently, back in August. Right after we gave God our "yes."
Now we were heading there again, but without the kiddos this time.
#5. Today.
We are moving to Colorado in 4 months.
That's right. August 2021.
The plan is to live in the location we plan to plant a church and just live there.
To drink the same water, breath the same air, and become part of them.
To rent a house, get a non-church job, and change our phones numbers.
Another household is moving this summer as well.
Our plan is to start being a church without the (full) pressure of launching a church right away.
Right now, our kids are not excited about moving (again). Neither are their parents.
Right now, we don't really know how we are going to do it.
We just know we are going to do it.
This is a skim version of the story.
Soon we can share some vision about the church.
Until then. Please consider becoming a supporter. We need YOU.

Your story, although, completely different from a recent experience I had, reminds me of just how little we know and who, how and what to plan for in our lives. What a marvelous opportunity God provides us, each and every day, to simply, trust Him. (And how utterly, "overwhelming" this can surely be at times.) I pray for your continued strength, perseverance and commitment to what He would have you do for Him, for each other and for others as you answer His call to serve the Kingdom in love and obedience. I am anxious for you and so very thankful for you!
So, back to my experience... I was heading to work like any other day (pulling out o…
